I first met Mark six months ago. I was looking for someone to train my mix breed "WB" and Pitt Bull dog, Sassy. Both of my dogs are rescues. My two dogs have completely different personalities and what impressed me about Mark is his willingness to adapt his training approach to each dog. And even more important, he tailored his training approach to my personality. He feels that in order to be successful at training, he has to understand the person and the dog and relate to both of them equally well. I had enrolled in the generic group class at your local pet store and this is so much better because you have training tailored to your dogs's needs and personality. Mark made a genuine, energetic and fun effort to convey general knowledge about dogs, people and the interaction of the two. I learned more about dogs (and people) than I knew there was to know. The most comforting thing about working with Mark is knowing that he sincerely cares about my dogs and my relationship with them. My dogs are his dogs. And most important, I know Mark is there for me whenever, whereever and for as long as I need his help. He truly partners with people and their dogs. He is the best! Julie Milburn

My husband, Wesley, and I met Mark about 5 months ago. Wesley traveled rather extensively on business, and we both decided a dog would be good company, and comfort while Wesley was out of town. Dax is our first dog, and what my husband would call an unreasonable size for a first dog, but none-the-less, we have a Great Dane! It was either a Dane, or no dog at all, and that being said I was ready to take on all the additional challenges that would be required of a dog that size. So, needless to say, the quest for an excellent trainer began, because the last thing I needed was an un-manageable 150+lb Great Dane on my hands! We started with our local pet store, as we were both unfamiliar with where to begin. Luckily we had to venture no farther than that. We signed Dax up for private lessons first, and at that point, we were privileged to get to know Mark one on one. I was initially impressed with Mark because he sat us down and told us what we could expect from his training classes, in addition to asking us what our goals were and the steps we would take to excel at each of those goals. He was very passionate about his love for training, and it was extremely hard to not believe that was the case learning he works a full-time job in Las Colinas everyday, with a commute from Keller, has a family at home, and still manages to have the energy and enthusiasm to devote his weekends to dog training. Someone with this type of dedication was who I wanted working with my dog. Since that day, Dax has made huge progress in the goals we have set for him and ourselves initially as well as goals we have set on a forward moving basis. Mark is continually evaluating Dax’s performance and ours and challenging us to excel. I feel that Dax has made such progress because Mark not only has the experience and talent to train, but also a genuine love for dogs and the passion to connect with both dog and owner and really teach them both how to live in an environment where are content. I truly love Mark’s enthusiasm and devotion not only to this specialty, and feel this is the reason Wesley, Dax and I, and others I have witnessed, have had such wonderful success with him. We could not be happier with Dax, and the progress he has made at only 6 months of age! I wouldn’t trust Dax with anyone else now! We are luck to have found such and great trainer! Now, if I could just find such a trainer for the husband I’d be all set! : )
