Here at TopDog, I take partnering with others to ensure they get the dog they want very seriously.  I am here to help! I am very, very passionate about working with dogs and their "human parents". You will not find a more dedicated individual than myself when it comes to helping you reach your training goals. 

When you work with me, you get my help for life and many times a new friend as well. Lets start today!   

What I Do

I help you obtain a well mannered, good family member.  This means I not only help train your dog, but also teach you how to understand, communicate, lead and yes train your dog. 

The key here is to show you how to develop a strong, positive, understanding relationship with your dog. From there, we move forward with a well-thought out plan for what we want to achieve and to create a step-by-step blueprint on how we will accomplish your training goals.

Philosophy

My guiding principle is to work with dogs without conflict, simply "Obedience Without Conflict". To lead dogs (and people!), you need to establish trust, develop a means of communication and provide motivation.  Dogs listen and follow people they trust. No dog can follow anyone unless there is a means of communication.  I teach you how to lead and communicate with your dog.  This is the FUNDAMENTAL 

PROCESS I follow. Oh yes, and one other requirement - that we have fun doing it!
